Below is a message of thanks from our Mayor to all those who helped plant 400 trees this weekend (and this extends to those who would have been there if not otherwise engaged).

I really want to send my heartfelt thanks to all those involved in finally getting the trees planted over this weekend (4/5 December).
It’s not been easy with the uncertainly and changing of the dates – not to mention potential challenges with the weather!
It has been great to see this project come to fruition with the partnership working beforehand and then at the weekend a good number of volunteers planting on both days (I only planted on the Saturday and didn’t see everyone as I was in the lower part of the site- and was elsewhere on the site on Sunday!)
Can you please pass this message on to all those involved in the tree planting on the grounds of the Llanfwrog Community Centre.
Look forward to seeing the results in the coming years.
